Inspired by the playful spirit of Casper the ghost, this sauce proves ghost peppers can be approachable, not intimidating. Juicy peaches, pure maple syrup, garlic, and ghost peppers, a hot honey-garlic style sauce built for drizzling, dipping, and marinating. The one our customers DM us about at 2am because they put it on a McDonald's burger.

What it tastes like

Juicy peach. Friendly ghost.

Ghost peppers have a reputation. People hear 'ghost peppers' and assume their mouth will be on fire for 20 minutes. Casper takes that reputation and gently dismantles it. We start with juicy peaches and pure maple syrup, natural sweetness that wraps around the heat. Garlic gives it that hot-honey-garlic backbone. Then the ghost pepper arrives like a polite knock on the door, not a SWAT raid.

It's friendly enough that kids can build their spice tolerance with it (parents love this part). It's flavourful enough that hot sauce nerds keep reaching for it. And it's versatile enough that, as one customer put it, 'Rice and eggs? Casper. Pizza? Casper. 2am burger from McDonalds? Casper.'

Why it hits different

Real ghost pepper. Not extract.

Most 'ghost pepper' sauces use an extract, a concentrated, processed shortcut that gives you the burn without the flavour. Casper uses real Red Bhut Jolokia peppers, blended with peaches as the base, pure maple syrup as the sweetener (not corn syrup, not refined sugar), and garlic as the savoury anchor. Six ingredients. That's it.

Vegan, gluten-free, all-natural, low sodium. No artificial colours, no preservatives, no fillers. The kind of 'hot honey garlic' sauce that ends up on everything, including stuff you'd never expect.

How you'll actually use it

One bottle, infinite applications.

Casper is a glaze, a drizzle, a marinade, a dip, sometimes all at once. Chicken wings (marinade overnight OR drizzle on after, both work). Fried cauliflower or fried anything (the sweet-spicy glaze loves crispy texture). Grilled veggies. Souvlaki. Kebabs. Sandwiches. Pizza. Rice + eggs. The 2am burger. Whatever's in front of you.

Parents love it for a specific reason: it's the gateway sauce. Mild enough that kids can handle it once you drizzle ranch alongside, but interesting enough that adults aren't compromising. The whole family eats the same meal, and the kids' spice tolerance quietly grows.

Honest answers

Before you put Casper on everything.

Can my kids eat this?

Most parents who buy Casper specifically use it as their kids' gateway sauce. Drizzle ranch alongside and even spice-shy kids can handle it. Builds tolerance gradually, and adults aren't compromising on flavour.

How hot is 6/10 really?

A little sting, hotter than Sriracha, gentler than most ghost-pepper sauces. The peach and maple buffer the front of the bite, so the heat builds slowly and never overwhelms the food.

Is it really vegan? With a name like 'hot honey'?

Yes, 'hot honey' is the style, but Casper uses pure maple syrup instead of honey. 100% vegan, gluten-free, low sodium.

What pairs best?

Wings (the classic), fried cauliflower, grilled veggies, kebabs, souvlaki, sandwiches, pizza drizzle, rice + eggs, that 2am burger. Anything you'd hit with hot honey, plus a lot more.

How long does it last?

Shelf-stable for 2 years, the best-before date is printed on every bottle. Best refrigerated after opening for peak flavour.
