I tried the Bodhi sauce and wow this one surprised me, It starts sweet, turns tangy, and that perfect little spicy kick at the end without being overpowering. We tried it with omelette first and instantly got hooked! It also tastes amazing with fish fillets, burgers, paneer, and honestly anything that needs extra flavour. I love that it tastes unique and homemade instead of just hot. Even better knowing it’s a Canadian, Toronto-based brand made with all natural ingredients.

As someone who loves both wings and hot sauce, this one was a fun surprise. It’s got a nice kick from the ghost peppers, but the peaches and maple syrup add just enough sweetness to balance it out.

We really enjoyed this hot sauce. So many hot sauces are going for the novelty of the hottest sauce and have no flavour and this was the complete opposite. It is really flavourful and enjoyable to eat, its hot but not novelty hot and leaves a nice tingle on your tongue and in throat. We had it on wings and with a mild cheese and baguette and it was great, but would love to try it in a marinade for the bbq.

I used the Bodhi hot sauce on my chicken and rice. I’m Indonesian so I usually eat meals with sambal, so I like a stronger upfront spice.
This one starts sweet and slightly tangy, then the heat comes at the end. It’s not very spicy but still flavourful and easy to enjoy.
I personally prefer their Amma’s Malaysian Sambal because it has a bolder kick, but this sauce would be great for people who want a milder heat or are new to hot sauces.

I recently tried their Ammas Sambal sauce. It is a Malaysian chili paste with a thick consistency. This is not the version of smabal with the shrimp paste. This is perfect for me since I can’t have shellfish. The sauce hits you with a bright tomato tang then the heat kicks in from Thai chili and ginger. They aren’t kidding when the bottle says 8/10 heat. I personally would add a pinch more salt to round it out. The sauce is good for marinades and in stir-fry or even as a soup base. I used it to make some airfry Sambal chicken and it was delicious! If you like heat, highly recommend it.

OG Boodoo – This one hits you right away. It’s got that classic pepper sauce vibe with a good kick, but not the kind that ruins your day lol. Super good on eggs or anything savory.

Burning Mango – My fave. It’s sweet and spicy in the best way, and the mango just makes everything taste better. Such a good medium heat that doesn’t overpower the flavour.

Lime Chilli – The mild girl of the group. Very fresh, super zesty, really good if you’re not trying to burn your mouth off. I loved this one on tacos.

Wooo this sauce has go some kick to it! I've had sambal sauces in the past but this is nothing like the ones I've had! I love the texture of this sauce. It's also cool that there is no shrimp paste in this one, makes it stand out from the other brands even more! It was a taaaad spicy on it's own for my son but i mixed it with mayo for him and added honey to balance out the heat and he loved it on his chicken! I'll definitely be buying this again as it's now become a staple pantry item for our family!

I’m obsessed and already eaten half a jar of this litssauce Amma’s Malaysian Sambal. It’s great on veg, meat, topping eggs, rice. This chilli sauce is amazing blend of heat and I’ve been adding it to everything I’ve been cooking the past couple of weeks. FYI this is vegan, most Sambal is made with shrimp paste and this doesn’t have any and it’s favourful as heck and perspective free (I get migraines with any preservatives)

This sauce surprised me so much! I loved the flavour, the texture, the spice and of course the versatility as it can be used in pasta, rice, as a base for soups, marinades and even for dips. So you do get your money's worth and an amazing product.
